Miele really knows how to select their parts to make impressive vacuum cleaners and they have proven it on several occasions. The C1 series of vacuums brought along another titan manufactured by Miele, namely the Classic C1 Titan canister vacuum, which is one of the most inspired Miele products from the points of view of its ease of use and electronics.
Practically, there is no difference between the Classic C1 Titan canister vacuum and any vacuum of the S5 series in terms of performance for this vacuum cleaner also features an SEB 217 powerbrush and produces just as much suction power as an S5 vacuum. Therefore, the cleaning performance achieved on low to medium pile carpets and hard floors is just as great as the one achieved by any other Miele appliance fitted with this powerbrush, which is extremely powerful and capable. The parquet floor brush is also used to collect the dust and debris from hard-to-reach areas. The Vortex motor is the same 1200-watt one with six different suction power levels Miele has accustomed their customers to.
The powerbrush is controlled via a switch on the ergonomically designed handle that relieves the strain on one’s wrist. This handle makes the Titan canister vacuum very easy to use, just like the 360-degree casters make it very easy to drag around the house. The only ten pounds it weighs also adds to its maneuverability. This appliance turns cleaning into a far less demanding chore with its 18-foot power cord which can be rewound with a single press of a button and the telescopic wand, the two ensuring an increased cleaning radius of 29.5 feet. The telescopic wand can be stored in one of the two park docks on the back of the vacuum cleaner. The convenience of the Titan vacuum is also increased by the crevice tool, upholstery tool and dusting brush which are stored in a special compartment inside it.
